We're having a a swinging 60s celebration in honor of our 60th year of fostering global connections and citizen diplomacy here in Nebraska!
Join us at the Scottish Rite Temple ballroom in downtown Lincoln on Thursday, April 16th, 5:30-8:30pm for our Annual Celebration and 60th anniversary of our organization!
Robert Post, the Director of the Office of International Visitors at the U.S. Department of State, will give remarks for the evening. We will also be welcoming an international visiting delegation of educators from Benin, Chile, Iraq, Georgia, Nicaragua, Peru, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Türkiye, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.
Musical entertainment will be provided by The Bottle Tops Trio
New this year! In celebration of our anniversary, all current Global Ties Nebraska members will receive a free 60s retro-inspired t-shirt the night of the event!
Single tickets are $75 | Ticket pairs are discounted at $140 for two.
- Includes a drink ticket, heavy appetizers from Venue, entertainment, and a donation to help us continue our work in connecting Nebraska to the world!
We also offer two sponsorship levels, the proceeds of which go towards supporting our efforts as we welcome international visitors to Lincoln and help connect them with local community members, for interested businesses and organizations:
- Nebraska Global Diplomat Sponsor: $850 – Includes 8 tickets (heavy apps & a drink per guest), a reserved table with your company/organization’s logo, social media recognition, your company's name/logo printed in the program, and special acknowledgment at the event as a leading supporter of citizen diplomacy for the state of Nebraska.
- Lincoln Local Diplomat Sponsor: $675 – Includes 5 tickets (heavy apps & a drink per guest), a reserved table with your company/organization’s logo, social media recognition, your company's name/logo printed in the program, and acknowledgment at the event as a valued supporter of citizen diplomacy here in Lincoln.
