Past President
Brooke Jambor is the Past President of LCIV. She has served for the past five years as Vice-President and President. Brooke became involved with LCIV as a dinner diplomat which is her favorite way to be involved with LCIV. She believes that being a dinner diplomat is the best way to really get to know and learn from the visitors. Her children, Jonah and Greta, also love meeting the visitors and learning about their countries and cultures. It has sparked a love of travel and language for all of them. Brooke is currently an Education Specialist for ELPA21 at UCLA, CRESST and has been in the field of multilingual K-12 education for over 20 years. She is currently at PhD. candidate at the University of Nebraska and holds a Master's Degree from Boston University in Language and Literacy. Brooke has lived in Lincoln most of her life but also spent time in Boston, MA. She enjoys gardening, reading, being outside and spending time with her friends and family.
